Hopkins Behavioral Health, PLLC
Ty A. Robinson, Ed.M., LGPC
In my practice, I emphasize the therapeutic relationship as an integral part of authentic healing. My therapeutic approach centers on building trust, discussing your experiences without judgment, developing emotional understanding, and engaging in holistic healing that supports my client’s journey of self-discovery and self-love. I recognize that one approach to therapy cannot fully capture your intersectional experience, culture, and identity, so I tailor treatment to reflect your goals and needs. When working with me, you can expect a supportive and collaborative space where you can openly share and explore the parts of yourself that matter most.
While cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a cornerstone of my practice, my training has equipped me to integrate therapeutic approaches that honor cultural identity, acknowledge the impact of past experiences, and facilitate emotional understanding. This holistic approach has allowed me to center my client’s lived experiences and address challenges related to anxiety, depression, substance abuse, trauma, phobias, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and more.
